The Culinary Institute at Illinois Central College provides the perfect partnership to explore the flavors of the world. The Culinary Institute prepares a scrumptious menu, including beverages and desserts, and then add the talents of presentation and serving for a global culinary delight!
The Peoria Riverfront Museum partners with PAWAC to show documentaries on Sundays in February and March, and PAWAC provides speakers to offer in-person perspective. This program is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon during the waning weeks of winter in Central Illinois.
On the last Sunday of August, the full membership of the organization is invited to come together to celebrate the successes of the previous year and plan for the upcoming year. In addition to refreshments, the membership elects officers and approved the budget for the coming year.
World Affairs Council members love to travel! PAWAC invites amateur photographers to submit their best images from their travels for this annual contest. Open to the public, the images will be juried by local photography professionals, with cash prizes for the top three finishers in each category. Photos will be used in future PAWAC marketing, with credit to the fabulous photographers.
