Join us for a discussion with the four producers/directors of the film that documents the brutal siege of their home city, Mariupol, Ukraine. This event is free and open to the public.
Four surviving documentary filmmakers from Mariupol, Ukraine, will present their experiences - and their film - about the brutal 2022 Russian siege of their home city. “Mariupolis 2” was being filmed to show how war affects normal life when award-winning Lithuanian director Mantas Kvedaravicius was captured and killed by Russian troops. Kvedaravicius' co-director and fiancée bravely retrieved his body and his footage and completed the film, which she will present (with English subtitles). This event is free and open to the public.
